BriefAdam wanted to be able to grow his creative brand business  in line with his personal beliefs and values, whilst ensuring that his staff and clients were led effectively and creatively.  He was unclear about his leadership strengths and how he was perceived by others.  He needed to develop a stronger concept of his Leadership capabilities and understand his personal Leadership style during a period of fast-moving business growth.

Solution

Initial meeting to identify specific and achivable outcomes for a 6month period.  A package of face to face coaching sessions and interim support over 6 months.  We worked through a number of issues relating to Adam's Leadership Style and how he wants the business to grow.  Activites included 360 Feedback from staff, clients, colleagues and friends. We continually reviewed objectives and specific actions to be completed between each session.  At the end of the programme we assessed his performance against the original criteria and looked at plans for continued progress.

Adam then attended the Inspiring Leadership Programme between October 08 and January 09.

Results

  • Adam greatly increased his confidence in handling staff issues, including hiring and conflict management,
  • He improved client relationships and increased turnover specifically attributable to his having a clearer understanding of his strengths and ability to negotiate for what he knows his business is worth. 
  • Adam is now clearly focused on business growth and better able to plan strategically
